We have all types, shapes and sizes of sawn timber that is seasoned and ready for use. Please contact us to discuss your needs.
We have an extensive stock of larch that is in 8”x 8” x 14 foot (metric – 20mm x 20mm x 4.25m) lengths but can be cut to suit your needs.
We will provide you with a quote upon request.
Our prices do not include delivery but delivery can be arranged.

Cutting Service
We will cut your trees to order and will look at cutting any sawn timber you have (provided it is nail free and free of any other foreign material).
Our saw can handle up to 36” (90cm) diameter and 28’ (8.6m) length. We can cut to any size.

200+ year reclaimed oak
We have a large selection of reclaimed oak of all sizes that has been [sand blasted] clean. It is particularly valuable for use in building restorations. We believe the oak was grown in the Lorton Valley, was sawn in the Lorton Valley and was definitely used in buildings in the Lorton Valley.

Firewood
We supply firewood in one ton dumpy bags.
You are expected to return the dumpy bag (or forfeit a £15 deposit).

Tree Disposal
If you have a tree that has been cut down or has fallen down. We will dispose of it for you
.
Simply send us a photo and we will confirm how we can help. Rest assured the tree will be put to good use and “recycled”.
You can either drop it off at the sawmill or we can arrange for collection within a 15 mile radius of Cockermouth.
